Lion Sabatier
Coutel ‘Innov, Thiers, France, was founded in 1852 and took over the manufacture of Lion Sabatier in 1991.
For more than 500 years, Thiers has been the centre of French knife manufacturing. There are several ‘Sabatier’ factories here, all of which make knives, but of different qualities.
Lion Sabatier was registered as the first Sabatier trademark as early as 1812, and is the only one allowed to use the lion as a symbol.
The ‘king of animals’, the lion stands for strength, agility, superiority and is a guarantee of quality for the consumer.
Although modern machines have long since replaced hammer and anvil, many parts of the long production process are still carried out by hand. The result is one of the best knives that money can buy.
Sold only in Scandinavia.
