All porcelain is ovenproof and therefore suitable for both oven and microwave \u2013 even directly from freezer to oven (-30\u00b0C to +350\u00b0C).<\/p>\n
The glaze is acid-resistant so that the colour does not change and it is completely nonporous \u2013 which makes it very hygienic and easy to clean.<\/p>\n
For many years, Pillivuyt has made efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. These efforts include recycling of waste products from raw materials and recycling water, plastics, paper and cardboard. Insulation of ovens and use of the heat of the furnaces for heating. A different initiative is the recycling of hard porcelain waste in road surfaces.<\/p>\n
